They have some type of system worked out

Elliott has been waking up at 6:15 everyday. Berkley 7:15 has been the earliest. E stayed at my parents house last night, I was looking forward to sleeping in a bit today. Not only did Berkley wake up 4 times last night, she got up at 6:30. HOW do they do it? Is there a punch in system I'm not aware of? Did E put some type of alarm in B's room? I'm mystified.

My Sweet Gerber Baby

Berkley started rolling over yesterday. I'm realizing that I only have a couple more months until she is all over the place. That is when it will get hard. Girl loves to eat. Mostly just rice cereal so far, she makes funny faces on her vegetables. She sits in her bouncy seat and kicks her legs so hard its hard to get it in her mouth. Sometimes she manages to kick the bowl out of our hands. She is just so much fun and has such a great personality, always so happy and smiley. We love her so much!

What being 3 is about

Elliott loves to get herself dressed. All her good stuff is hung up in her closet, so mostly if she gets something herself it is play clothes. She can finally get her shirt on all by herself, she used to need a little bit of help. She came in and asked me to help her with her shirt, I told her I bet she could do it herself. To see the smile across her face and how proud she was when she did it was wonderful. We were outside waiting for Daddy to get home when big fat raindrops started falling. She wanted to stay out and play in the rain, I wish I could have joined her but B was working on eating so we had to go inside and watch from the door. She had so much fun being crazy in the rain in her mismatched clothes. Its what being 3 is all about :-)

Busy Busy

Everytime I sit down to post I get distracted. We've been busy with friends and family the last couple weeks. E had her birthday party at Little Gym, it was such a fun time. Almost all her friends were able to make it so she was really happy. It was a "prinpress" party.

She loved her cake and being the center of attention for the whole day. She got to ride in the middle of the parachute and be first for all the games. It was such a fun day!

Afterwards all our far away friends came over to hang out since we don't get to see them much. Here is E with all her buddies and Miss B with her friend that is 2 weeks older than her. They both have the same adorable dress so I put B in hers for a picture.

The Lake

We went to Cedar Creek Lake last weekend with my whole family. It was such an amazing time. It was my first time out to the lake since getting pregnant last summer. It felt so good to be back on the boat and skiing. We borrowed a lakehouse from a friend and it was awesome. Mom and Chris took turns staying in with the girls, I was always on the boat. Lucky for me Mom's favorite thing to do is hang out with her grandbabies and Chris only likes the sun in small doses. Elliott loved driving the boat

We also convinced her to get on the jet ski with us. It took awhile, first we told her to just hop on for a picture (which is why she has no life jacket on) then we asked if she'd take a short ride with us. She agreed. We tipped it over. She'll probably never trust us again! We were just going so slow because Chris was checking with her to see if we had been going too fast, that he turned the wheel too much and we all dumped off. She was not too happy with us.

She liked watching us ski. She could even tell that "mommy is better than daddy" which is totally true ;-)

We just had such a great time hanging out and relaxing. The girls were great, they stayed up kinda late and actually slept in everyday which was heaven for us! We got to hang out at night and play games with my family. Can't wait to do it all again! Here is Berkley enjoying an ice cube with Aunt Amanda
