Funny girls

A few funny stories from the girls lately. I'm sure there are many more...

E was watching Chris shave and asked him why he was making "whisker water"

We were getting ready for soccer the other day- I had on black gauchos and a tshirt E told me "You look like Laura" I took it as a compliment :)

Berkley continues to talk in her own little language. She has started nodding her head for yes. She just points at stuff and babbles with a questioning lift at the end.

We had a baby attack last night. E was eating her granola bar and minding her own business. Chris was tickling her and they were both laughing, B saw the fun from across the room and came over to get in on it. She then spotted the granola bar and went crazy grabbing at it, so pieces flew into Elliott's hair in her frenzy to get a piece she ripped poor Elliott's earring right out of her ear. Luckily it didn't tear the hole or anything and E was okay. Don't get in the way of Berkley's food though!

Berkley was in her crib yesterday fighting her nap. I was cleaning downstairs so I had the video monitor on. She was just kinda playing then I heard her start crying. I went to check the monitor and the picture didn't look the same, I looked for a minute then suddenly the picture starts moving all over the place then I see her big noggin fill up the whole screen. Hilarious.

Just thought I'd share some of the fun around here!

Rylee's Photoshoot

My sister might kick my bootie, but I wanted to put a couple pics I took of Rylee up. I didn't put any of the ones she picked, I'll let her show those off and I'll be using some of those for making her announcement so you'll just have to wait until she gets around to posting ;-) I had so much fun taking pics of her, she was so sweet and let me move her all over the place. I love her so much!

Car Wash

Elliott saw a little girl washing a car in her bathing suit awhile ago and has been wanting to do it ever since. Around here, we're lazy. We take our cars to the car wash, sit inside and watch while other people clean them. Yesterday while Berkley was napping, I thought I'd let her have her little childhood moment of helping to wash the car. I have not washed a car since I drove an actual car, I found out that washing a SUV is an entirely different project. She was tired of it by the time the front bumper was washed, she started asking why we couldn't just go to the car wash. My sentiments exactly :-) She had a lot of fun for those 10 min though! We also organized the garage a little bit and got out the water table and sprinkler for the first time of the season. So all in all it was a fun afternoon for her.

Lots of fun with the hose.
Washing with a big smile
Here she is taking a break with a sucker after all her hard work. I think she was watching a plane fly by. I can't believe how big she has gotten, she is all kid now, no more baby.

Barbie Girls

E and B loving driving around in their Barbie Escalade. There is a soccer field by our house so we can take them down there and pretty much let them loose. I need to get it on video sometime too- luckily there is a little seatbelt for Berkley. E slams on the gas and brakes pretty hard sometimes!

I was walking behind the girls on the way up there and Chris was beside them. This was how Berkley was riding. Soooo cute!
I LOVE how Berkley's little hair is flapping in the wind! It is actually long enough to put a bow in now, but she always rips them out. Little stinker! My sweet girls. They were having fun trying to run me over. At least its good for some pictures!

Babies

My sister had her baby on Wednesday. She is so cute- I am in love! I don't have many pics of her yet, she was always sleeping when I went. I am sure my sister will have tons of cute ones up when she gets home from the hospital today. Elliott got to go with me and meet "Baby Rye Rye" as she calls her. I need to get that pic from my sister, I was helping E hold her so I don't have one.
We also went over to play with Greenlee and Palmer yesterday before we headed home. I got a couple of Berkley and her buddy Palmer. She hasn't gotten to meet cousin Rylee yet, but its safe to say she loves babies!

Get That Lunch Meat

One of Berkley's favorite games now is called "Get That Neck Meat", or as E calls it "Get that Lunch Meat." Pretty simple game, B looks at the celing with her neck exposed and we tickle her under her chin. She does it all the time if she is in a cart shopping or in her high chair. Elliott also loved this game when she was little.

Waiting for Daddy to get herShe lifts her head and waits. It cracks me up!
Tickle Tickle TickleShe's also into playing peek-a-boo, sometimes she covers her ears instead of her eyes. So funny!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter. E was so excited about the Easter Bunny that she woke Chris up at 6, they tried "really hard" to go back to sleep in her bed but it was just tooooo exciting. I guess B knew something about it too because she woke up extra early. We went downstairs to checkout the loot.

E had fun hunting for eggs, but thought it was a little easy and that the Easter Bunny should do a little better next year. He left some eggs for B out on the floor, she had fun putting those into her basket. Elliott wrote the Bunny a letter a few weeks ago asking that he make her hunt with clues on Easter. So she was very excited to find egg shaped notes with clues leading her all over the house to the dryer where the Easter Bunny stashed an extra gift for each of them. Elliott got the dog that grows that she has been wanting for months. She was so excited and wanted to know how in the world the Easter Bunny knew that she wanted that so much! B got a little tea set, but she thought E's dog was much cooler and screamed a lot to be able to touch him.Another stellar family picture. The girls are just not into taking pictures with us. The girls were also uninterested in taking pictures together, so this is the best I got.
Aunt Amanda and Uncle Brad gave the girls a Basket. B just loved this little turtle purse she gave it a big hug and carried it with her to church.
After Church with my family we headed back over to my parents house for more egg hunting and a yummy lunch. It was a great day!

Soccer

E finally had her first soccer game on Saturday. The first one was rained out and the second one was cancelled because it was so cold. We were very ready to have a game after all our practices!

This picture is of B helping E get ready for the game that ended up being cancelled 2 weeks ago. Its hard to see but she is holding up a comb trying to fix her hair.
Here is E all ready to go!She ran around a lot at the beginning of the game, looks like she is actually trying to get the ball here! Her shorts were so loose that she spent a lot of the time walking around holding on to them.I think this picture pretty well sums up the game. The little boy with the ball is awesome. He single handedly won the game (not that we're keeping score). I love how the rest of them are standing around watching! It was definitely entertaining to watch. E and I have been practicing taking the ball away from the other team so hopefully next week she'll be a little more aggressive.

This is for you Great Grandpa and Aunt Cindy

Here is B in her Tiger's tee you got her last year. She loves it but she is hoping her daddy doesn't catch her in it!

Random Pics

Here is E at Central Market. She was so excited about the small carts. She had her own and pushed it all over the store. Such a cute little mommy :-)

Here's a pic of E and Greenlee going down the slide. They took turns going in front of eachother. It was so cute! I'm glad they like eachother so much and are already good friends. Not that Katie and I plan on giving them a choice ;-)
Here they are eating their luch at McDonalds. My favorite place to eat.

Palmer Rose

My best friend Katie just had girl number 4 last Tuesday. I went over to take pictures of her yesterday, she was so sweet and let me do whatever I wanted to her. Berkley gave her a hug as soon as she met her so it was a great meeting for the two tiniest BFF's. E and I picked up Greenlee today and had a day with her, they had so much fun! I"ll try to post again later. You'll see all these hat's and things again in a couple weeks when I do Rylee's pictures. I can't wait!

Photoshoot

I got a new blanket yesterday for taking pictures. I also got some new photoshop actions that I'm playing around with. I am so ready for Miss Rylee to be here and my best friend Katie just had her little girl Palmer last night, so I have lots of new babies to practice on! I thought I'd try to practice and take some of Berkley. I got a couple cute ones.
This is her with her most favorite bunny in the whole world. I wish it showed his head. It's one of those blanket bunny combos. She loves him so much. She always gathers him all up when I go to get her out of bed.
Hopefully Rylee and Palmer won't be as difficult since they can't get around. B didn't last too long.
The good thing about taking pictures of B is that E always wants in on the action and is willing to listen to me. To a degree.

She was having fun falling back onto the bean bag. I just love her sweet face so much!
