The last week

We went to my parents house last Sunday to see my Grandpa and Miss Betty in town from Michigan.  Of course most the pictures from that day are of my favorite little puppy. He loves to fetch his rope/ball he looks so cute toting it back up the hill!
He was very tuckered out after all that running!
The girls with Grandpa and Betty
We did a little potty training work. Miss Stubborn still isn't catching on, and I don't feel its because she can't...
Berk "shared" some of her push up with E since E had finished hers. Not sure how much actually made it in her mouth
We went to Ore City to celebrate Fathers Day - for some reason I managed to get NO pictures of Nanny and PawPaw.  Madison was with her dad so Aunt Brandy was E's substitute buddy all weekend. They had lots of fun!
Then it was off to my parents to celebrate with my dad. Its so nice to live close and get to see both our dads on the same day! After dinner Berkley was insisting that she needed a bubble bath. Baxter offered to supervise.
Rylee came over for a bit today and played dress up with Berkley. Unfortunately Berk decided that she really needed the crown Rylee had on. The other 75 princess crowns weren't "the one"

Cousin Madisons Week with us

We had a very busy and exciting week this week.  Cousin Madison came to visit. We had her from Sunday until Friday night. We did lots of fun arts and crafts, went to the pool, the splash pad, danced in the rain played lots of video games. It was a good time!

The girls got along really well. I don't think I had to break up any fights.  Although, E came crying to me 3-4 times saying Madison was going to tell on her.  Then telling me what she had done that Madison was going to tell about. Pretty funny!

At the park the girls were playing spy with some little boys.  I was a level below them with Berkley.  I guess the boy was using some language that wasn't very good-  I heard Madison telling him "Don't talk like that, my cousins are 2 and 5 and they don't need to be hearing that kind of stuff" So sweet that she was looking out for her little cousins!

Here they all are painting their wooden crafts we found at Hobby Lobby
The finished products (Cinderella dress was in the wash in case you were wondering)
While we were working on our pinwheels it started pouring rain so the girls ran and got their bathing suits really fast and we went outside to play in the rain. I think it only rained for a few minutes but they had a great time while it lasted
It looks like they are at the lake or something- all the water puddled up on the street
After the rain we got out the slip n slide for a bit. E has gotten so good since last summer!
E had a tennis class this week through the rec center. She did really well with it and I think we'll sign up for another one next month.  It is so nice being close to our family Grammy, Papa, Aunt Amanda and cousin Rylee came to watch on her last day. It was quite a fan club!
I love the determined look on her face

3 sweet cousins. We had so much fun this week!

Painting, Swimming and Birthday Party

This was our first week of summer. We got to go swimming with our friends, celebrate Chris's birthday and have Rylee over for Amanda's last day of school.  There are tons of pictures.
Berkley at the pool
E bop balancing on the alligator. She is turning into quite the little fish this summer. She wants to swim everyday.  Too bad we don't have our own pool (that was for Chris, I have to be sure he hears about it everyday ;-) )
E loves celebrating Birthdays, we had to hide when he got home from work so he could have a surprise party.  She also made and decorated a cake.
Look at Berkley's face in this one. She was pretty ticked off that the candles were blown out so quickly. Chris had to light some for her to do herself.
Cinderella with a mustache
Watching TV the princess way. I love how she wears her crown. She also always wears her sunglasses upside down. She is adorable!
This was a year ago.  I let the girls paint out on the driveway and they made quite a mess- had to borrow my dads power washer to get it off the driveway, apparently its not washable paint.

Berkley a year later.
At least I learned a little something and put down a plastic table cloth to protect the driveway. Too bad for me they walked through the paint and still tracked it all over. Gives it character
Rylee cracked me up with her painting. She always had 2 brushes.
Sad attempt to get a picture of the 3 of them.
Cutie pie at bathtime.

Memorial Weekend Fun

We had a busy but relaxing Memorial Day weekend.  We hung out and did errands on Saturday.  Sunday went over to visit my parents and swim in their neighbors pool.  Then off to my friend Beth's college graduation party where the girls got to do some more swimming! Beth has a niece that is a month older than Elliott and a nephew that is 2 months younger than Berkley so the kids had lots of fun playing.  Beth's niece Rylee is a little fish in the pool- it gave E lots of ideas of things to do. She finally decided to try opening her eyes underwater!

She was quite proud of herself!
They had a baby pool set up too, so Berkley spent lots of time going back and forth between the two taking buckets of water from the real pool and putting them in the baby pool, and watering flowers.
Monday we decided to go to a baseball game. The Roughriders are a minor league team that play in Frisco. E has been asking to go to a game for 2 years, for some reason we never made it to one last year. She was ecstatic when Chris suggested going to a game.  Berkley was less than thrilled......she decided to forgo a nap that day to sing and play in her crib, unfortunately for her (and us) it caught up with her later.
It is amazing how much money you can go thorough with kids at a baseball game.  I didn't get a picture of the cotton candy- but here is B with a hot dog (this picture cracks me up)
E with a lemon chill - my FAVORITE at games
The girls with their Daddy. This was at the end, Berkley had been done basically since we got there. She kept saying, all done with baseball. I want to go home. We get in the car, she says, "that was fun baseball" Really??
Earlier in the day we went to Chili's for lunch. It was obviously a nice day of eating out and having fun :-)
