Beautiful Blogger Award

My sister tagged me on this. I thought it sounded fun. You are supposed to give 7 things you may or may not know about me. I thought of 7 random things that probably nobody knows.

1. I bought E new crayons because I was tired of coloring with stubby ones. I put them up high so she can't use them unless I am coloring too.

2. I sing and hum all the time at home. I have a horrible voice but things get into my head and I can't stop. Berkley and Elliott hum a lot too. I was dancing around with B humming, I stopped and she said "mommy do hmm hmm hmm again"

3. I love watching crime shows. Real crime like Forensic Files and horrible stories . This drives Chris crazy because then I tell him about it.

4. I am extremely paranoid. Probably from watching all the real crime shows. I always think someone is going to get me. NOt sure why they'd want to...but there are sick people. This goes back to my childhood. I can remember doing a scavanger hunt in 4th or 5th grade at a bday party. There were cars driving slow by us. I ran back to the house at the speed of light, the mom kindly explained that the cars were looking at Christmas lights....I hope I can pass this paranoia onto my kids- it has kept me safe ;-)

5. I tiptoe when I have bare feet and I'm going into the garage . I never knew I did it until E started tiptoeing on our concrete floors in our old house. Its funny how most strange behavior in my kids can be traced back to me.....

6. I only like to watch tv laying down. I attribute this to a very dominant Stutler gene. It is a mess when the whole family is together trying to watch tv- there are only so many couches. My favorite place to watch tv is my bed.

7. I still can't believe I am a grownup. I look at my life with an awesome husband, two kids, a house and a soccer mom suv and wonder how I got so old! I often try to think of what my teenage self would think if she saw me today. I think she'd probably be pretty happy :-)

I pick
Everyone on the side of my blog- its about time people start blogging again this is ridiculous!

I have been an awful blogger lately- its mainly because downloading pictures from my camera makes me want to go Office Space on both the camera and the computer - so I haven't done any downloading in weeks. Maybe I'll set aside a good 30 min to get angry later today so I can get caught up :-)

Berkley the comedian

Berkley has been cracking me up lately. A few favorites are

If something happens and I scream (which I do a lot for some reason) like I drop something and I say "Ahhhh" B says "What..Ahhhh" or if its Owww she says "what...owww" it is the cutest

Also if she hears a noise she says "Noise?" then you tell her whatever it was and she says "Oh. Get. Me?"

The other day I dropped the mayo and it went all over the floor and cabinets (naturally I had just mopped) B saw it all happen of course there was an "ahhhh" from me and a "what. ahhh" I explained I had to clean up the big mess and she said "Poor Baby" Not sure if she was sarcastic or not- maybe a little to early for that family trait to be starting ;-)

Cousin Madison, Skating and Bowling

I bet you can't guess who this adorable little lady is.... This was my first time skating. I thought I was 4 but looking at the back of the picture I was just 3. Look at that hair....now we know my children's reluctant hair growth is not my fault ;-) Here is Miss Elliott her first time on skates. She did pretty well over all. She liked skating on the carpet much better than the rink. She is dying to go back.
E and MadisonI had a great time skating. I haven't been on any in 20 years. I am so old to be able to say I haven't done something in 20 years....but it is true! We even went to the rink in Plano that I used to go to on Friday nights in elementary school. Let me tell you, they have not changed a thing....even the skates I'm pretty sure.We went bowling too because some whiny girls were ready to leave the skating rink after an hour and we had Berkley with my parents so we took advantage of our free afternoon. Madison bowled better than I did. I think I should have had bumpers too!E was so cute bowling. She only made it about 4 frames before being tired out. Her little ball took about a full minute to make it down the lane each time. It was adorable. The long waitWe even got some snow that afternoon and the girls were thrilled to go outside and play for a little bit.
