Dance

E had a dance recital yesterday. She goes to Little Gym so they just do them at the end of each 12 week session and its in the actual dance room. Nothing too fancy. Grammy, Papa and Daddy all came to watch. I didn't tell her they would be there so she was so surprised! I wish I had a picture of her face when she saw her Grammy and Papa it was priceless. She also squealed when she saw her daddy come to get her out of the car.

She was all smiles before the tap dance started. Looking so adorable.

She got really upset once the dance started. I found out later she didn't want to do the air guitar. I don't blame her.....Here she is waving to Berkley, her biggest fan.B loves to watch her big sister dance. She can't wait to be able to do it herself. Here she is doing a monkey jump. Which I guess is kinda a pre-cartwheelBerkley also enjoyed watching her in the gym.She just did a big jump down from the top bar, she's doing great in gymnastics! Here is B's little buddy. He could not leave her alone. He kept coming over and petting her head, following her around and hugging her it was so cute!E and her friend Elizabeth. They are so cute together!

A good day

I started my day listening to Berkley chatter to herself in her bed for a good 10 minutes before dragging myself out of the comfort of my bed. I was met by a huge smile and a round of applause. Does it get any better than that? Then we hit the gym. Came home for a quick Berkley nap and headed to the zoo. Elliott has been asking to go for awhile so today was the perfect day for a trip it was so nice out. We had a good time just wandering around. I think our favorite was the monkey's they were running around chasing each other and swinging on their branches. I loved to watch the girls watch the animals. It was so cute. Berkley just stared at everything. Berkley enjoyed the carousel for a little bit, but then it started making her nervous. She looks so big holding on!E always has a good time on the carousel
E wanted to sit in the coach on the carousel and take a picture. Berkley did not.Elliott saw this squirrel in the parking lot. She actually walked up really close to it to get this picture.
This wasn't actually from today. But I thought it was so funny. She slept like this for her whole nap one day last week. I think she's about that wiped out again today!

Rylee Rose

Amanda and Brad went in for a 4D sonogram on Thursday. I have been anxiously awaiting my first glimpse of my niece since then. I finally got the pics today, Amanda and she said it would be fine if I put up a peek of her on here. I think I'm almost as excited about this sweet little girl as I was about my own. I can't wait to meet her and for my girls to have a new cousin to play with!

Not much to report

Nothing much has been going on around here. The girls are finally better. Poor little B ended up with an ear infection after all her congestion. We've mostly just been hanging out around the house making messes and driving mommy crazy cleaning up :-)
E had Western Day at school this week. I didn't manage to take a picture that day, but here she is hanging out back with her Daddy's cowboy hat on. Sadly this one is closer to fitting than the kids one that we borrowed....Thanks for that Daddy!

Elliott decided that it would be fun to put lip gloss all over both of their faces while mommy was getting dinner ready. Berkley looks happy doesn't she?

E and I were hanging out in the playroom just chatting while she ate her sucker. I just loved how she was sitting. She loves having her picture taken now. I drive her crazy pinching on those little legs but I seriously don't think I have ever seen a cuter pair. She can thank Daddy for those too. Maybe it will make up for the head thing.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day. I dug out all the cards I've made from E ever since her first Vday. I so love taking pictures and making valentines- I do it more for me than for the family that we send them to! The girls spent the night at my parents last night. Chris and I went out to dinner then hung out having some drinks and looking back through all our photo albums. It was such a nice time. I got to sleep almost TWELVE hours last night. It was amazing. So nice after this week of the girls being sick and waking me up 10 times a night. Now we're heading over to my parents house to get some love from our little munchkins!

A busy weekend

We had a busy weekend. The past few have been pretty laid back, just a lot of hanging out around the house playing out back doing a whole lot of nothing. Saturday we took the girls to Putt Putt because Elliott has been asking to go. She had fun playing golf with us and Berkley ate some snacks and looked on from the stroller. B looks really impressed doesn't she?

Next our starving little family went out to Black Eyed Pea. We put on quite the show. Not sure if we even left a crumb by the time it was all said and done. Except for Berkley of course. She had SO much food on her. She is really into cornbread. And any other carbs for that matter.

Sunday we went to a Pampered Princess Party at the Grapevine Convention Center. They had all kinds of activities. When I told Elliott about it on Wednesday, she was excited at first. Then got very concerned when I started telling her about the activities. I told her that Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty would be there. That she could dress up like a princess, get her hair and make up done, get her nails done....she started crying. I figured the first thing was the hair (see her fashion rules about this). Then she said she didn't want makeup or nails either. She didn't' want the princesses to touch her. After some questions I figured out that she thought the princesses would be cartoons. Once I told her they were real people she was less freaked out about it.

This is B spotting the necklace E had on. She looks so delighted
This is her grabbing it. E was not happy.
Here is E sitting on the princess throne in her Ariel costume. Here she is making a crown with her friend Elizabeth.
True to her word, she refused to have her hair, nails or makeup done. She loved making the crown, necklace and watching Belle's magic show. It was a really fun time!
