"I 'ate' the beach

Berkley hates the beach. We drove today from Disney to Destin to spend the weekend in a Condo on the beach. We went to dinner- and got back pretty late but thought we would take a stroll on the beach really quick since we drove all day to get here. Berkley said she wanted down then held her feet in the air while I tried to put her down. She said "I 'ate' the beach" I hope she changes her mind!
