We had Elliott's 5th Birthday party yesterday at the house. It was a big splash party with pools a slip n slide and a 15 foot high bounce house water slide. It was so much fun! I think all the kids had a blast and were probably completely worn out by the end of the night.
Here is my attempt to get a picture of the whole group for the thank you card. Notice Berkley in typical Berkly fashion- she's put her clothes back on and does not want any part of taking a picture. Although I can't say she's the only one that wasn't into picture taking!
Elliott wanted to have some games at her party. In this game everyone had a paper pinned to them and they were supposed to keep theirs dry and try to get others with their squirt gun. Only they all pretty much stood in a circle and shot all the water at each other. Hmmmmmm.
Then we had a fill a bucket with a sponge race- I think they lost interest about halfway through. Maybe I need to work on my game planning ;-)

E had a cupcake mishap
I have millions upon billions of water slide pics- once I look through all of them I'll try to post some more. This is Chris doing what Elliott calls- "the relaxed pose"
Elliott trying to do her version of it
Despite the complete terror on Berkley's face I think she actually did like doing the water slide- she did it several times. Chris helped her at the top and Uncle Brad caught her at the bottom. She still had this look on her face every time though!
After all the kids left the aunts and uncles stayed to play ;-) Notice the net at the top of the slide? Its to prevent people from doing dangerous things like trying to jump down the slide . I believe Brad was the first to do the jump over the net- we missed getting it on camera though because we didn't know it was going to happen. Jamie went next. I like his pro skateboard pose.
Cleared it!
Apparently jumping over the safety net was not enough for the boys. Then they had to flip over- it started with J's dive turning into a flip - then everyone had to try. Here is Brad's Judo flip
J lands about halfway down the slide on his.
All the girls went on the slide too but we weren't near as daring as the boys- everyone said they couldn't believe how much fun the slide was until they tried it. Of course it looks fun when other people do it but it was really so much fun! Needless to say both the kids and adults had a great time! I can't believe how fast these 5 years have flown by! Happy Birthday sweet Elliott!

We had such a great time at the party - Happy Birthday Elliott! I'm not surprised the guys found ways to make that slide so dangerous - I could see them eyeing it during the party :)
