Thanksgiving and Christmas Lights

Elliott had a Thanksgiving program at school the Thursday before Thanksgiving. They all had to make Pilgrim or Indian costumes at home then we got to go to school at lunchtime and they sang us some songs and we had a Thanksgiving Feast.  We're so lucky to live close to some of our family now, Grammy, Papa, Aunt Amanda and Rylee were all able to make it to celebrate.

This is E and her friend Gracie from across the street
She is on the far right in the back of her class

What? A picture with mommy in it????

Friday we headed to College Station to meet up with Aunt Brandy and cousins Brittany, Dakota and "bossy" Madison (according to Elliott)
There is an absolutely amazing Christmas town down there. We went our last year in college and I have been dying to take the girls for years.  Its 27 acres with 2.5 million lights. We got to go on a hayride which is much more fun than driving through in the car.
I tried to get some pictures of it but they don't do it justice.

There is also a little town with music, shops and a bonfire. It also had fake snow, which the girls loved dancing in.

Here are some of the lights
The girls also got to ride pony's. My older niece and nephew were trying to get pictures of Berkley's pony because they thought he looked pretty put out by the whole thing. Poor guy.

There were several different tunnels of lights that we rode through. So fun!
Hard to see but there were purple lights surrounding all the crosses on all sides.

Gosh these looked so much better in photoshop.....

Saturday Chris and Dakota went to the A&M vs Nebraska game.  Chris said it was the best atmosphere at a home game he'd ever been to (he never missed one the whole time he was at A&M). Biggest crowd ever- and we won!! I'm not going to say "whoop" because its so not me ;-)

Your "whoop" comment had me laughing! :) The lights were gorgeous! I wish that was around here - how beautiful! Elliott looks so old in her Kindergarten class!! It's fun she had such a big crowd come to her celebration!
