Growing like little weeds

Patton loves to be held.  Helping Daddy color a picture for Berkley
 Cutest little smile
 3 little monsters
Our butterfly's hatched this week! We picked fresh flowers for them every day and sprinkled sugar water on them.
Friday Elliott took them to school to show her class. That afternoon we let them go.  We thought they would be much happier flying through the blue Texas skies than cooped up in our habitat.
The girls and our friend Owen waiting for the butterflies to realize that they were free. We had 5.

The girls got to dip their feet in a neighbors pool. This ended with both of them soaking wet from head to toe and stripped to their panties. Berkley never lost the crown though!
P money after a nice bath

Aunt Rachel cut the girls hair on Saturday.  We decided to go short on both of them. E's curls were not so curly anymore so we thought we'd try something else.  I hardly recognize her with her new do. She looks so old to me now!
Chris said Berkley admired herself in the mirror for a good 20 min after she had her hair cut.  She keeps asking if its still short, because when we curl her hair it doesn't stay curly very long.  I guess she thinks her new look can go away ;-)

I had an amazing mothers day today. Patton only woke up once at 4 and stayed in his own bed until 8am. (as if he gets up and walks himself down to my bed) Elliott had the idea to make me breakfast and ordered Chris to do it. She supervised him and woke me up at 8 to enjoy eggs, toast and fruit. We had a picnic in the living room for lunch. I took a nice nap with Patton and finally got out of my PJ's and dressed to go out to dinner with my parents. Heavenly.  So lucky to be a mom to wonderful little monsters. Hope everyone else had a great Mother's Day too!

I love that picture of you and your kids - beautiful! I love the girl's hair cuts! They look so different with their hair cuts! Elliott does look so old! Glad you had a great mother's day!
