Berk had Western Day at school. Rylee was nice enough to loan her some real cowboy boots and a cute horse shirt. P and I went up to school to see her little songs- it was too cute. I took video on my phone I"ll have so see if I can ever figure out how to upload. Patton used me being busy to his full advantage and ended up stealing a cracker off a kids plate (they had a picnic set up on the ground for the kids after they sang). He is quite a stinker.
I love this sassy pose
She was scratching her back here, I thought it was a good cowgirl pose though. (Notice how the bottle of bubbles is in every picture? She was pretty excited to find that I had stocked back up at the store).
We took the kids to "The B Team Circus" as Chris and I call it. We've only been to Ringling Brothers so this little one in Celina was a bit different for us. The acrobat girls actually made their job look hard. I mean you know its hard, but usually they make it look so easy. Not these chicks. Every time I go to the circus I really want to run away and join it, I always ask the girls if they'll grow up and be circus girls someday. I don't think Ringling Bros would hire me, but at least finding this circus I know I have options if I ever decide to go for it ;-) It was fun though and Berk was super impressed with the lady that changed clothes quickly behind little curtains. I wish I had a pic of her face, every time the lady came out in something new she would gasp with a huge smile across her face. Priceless.
I realize I have an excessive amount of pics of Patton with the popcorn, but he really cracks me up with it.
Berk was enjoying some cotton candy- Like P in the background?
E saw a friend from school so she sat across the bleachers from us with her.
Elliott had crazy hat and sock day at school. I was pretty impressed with us for coming up with this hat 10 minutes before bedtime the night before. Of course Berk needed one too.
Close up of the crazy hat she made for Rose the dog that was on her hat.
Can't have a post without a crazy pirate face from Berk
She was super excited to wear her crazy outfit to school
We had some friends over for dinner and to play- this story is so cool to me. Stop me if you've heard it....Elliott met a little girl @ school in kindergarten and I became friends with her mom, Courtney. Courtney had talked about me and my kids to her sister Chelsea, who recognized my kids names from hearing about them on Amanda's facebook. Turns out Amanda and Chelsea graduated together from highschool. We all have kids the same ages, in fact Eli was born on the same day as Chelsea's little boy. So we all got together to hang out and let the kids play. It was so fun!
E and Ry- I love how Rylee looks at Elliott
Making crazy hats.
All the big kids- everyone also has a baby
The little girls had fun jumping on the trampoline and wearing fairy wings
I love how Ry and Berk have the same looks on their faces!
