10 Lessons- Patton Style

1) This is his way of saying "No Thank You, I wouldn't care for any Cheerios this morning"
Chris thought he had come up with a genius plan, in the battle of the morning in the ongoing war of WWPNT (What will Patton not throw). Patton loved eating puffs out of the container the other day. So he thought that if we put his cheerios in the puffs container he would eat them. Not so much. He shook the container up and down, then scattered all the ones that landed on his tray. And looked at us like- "your move, morons."
 2) A piece of Cardboard across the stairs as a gate?
"Nice try guys.  Keep working on that"
 3) He stands up in his highchair because he is much too old and sophisticated to be sitting in a chair like a common baby. He wants to eat at the table where the action is.
We found this after he threw everything we gave him on the floor and stood in his highchair no less than 3 times. We took him out and he tried to climb up in a kitchen chair, he plopped down, picked up his corn and started eating.
 4) He looks super cute eating corn on the cob.
5) We not only need straps to keep this guy sitting, we need tight straps
After the realization that Patton was too cool for the highchair we straped the old booster seat in.  With rope. Because the straps had dry rotted in the attic.  We couldn't tighten the straps to hold him in either, so we ended up with a new chair that he is happily eating in.
 6) If you turn a snack trap upside down and shake it as hard as your little baby arms can the snacks will too fall out all over the place
7) But that's okay because he loves to clean

 8) You can't stay mad at this face for more than 3 minutes at a time.
After breakfast on Saturday the kids sat down to watch Mickey Mouse.  Patton's new favorite show.  Today he brought me the remote, I asked him if he wanted to watch Mickey, he screached and ran to his chair. It was the cutest!
When the music at the beginning comes on he gets super excited
9) Patton has the moves like Jagger
After he bops in his seat for a few seconds he gets up and starts circling the room.  He thinks if he turns in a circle and moves his feet super fast he is dancing.  This is my favorite picture of anyone dancing ever.
I think you need to see it closer to get the full effect
Seriously, look at his hand! I can't stop laughing
Elliott has some serious bedhead in the morning.

Elliott has been dying to go to a baseball game since the season started. Friday night Chris and our neighbor took Elliott and her friend to the game- she had a blast.
 10) He isn't at all worried when he is caught doing something he isn't supposed to be doing
Like taking off with a snack and eating it on the carpet in Daddy's office
He must get it from Berkley

 Sweet Pizza face girl
Berkley has turned our wine room into Marie Grace Birthday Party Headquarters.  This party has been going on for 5 days now.  Everytime there is talk of cleaning it up she heads back in there to play for hours on end.
Our jacuzzi works again! The motor just stopped shortly after we moved in with no warning.  I randomly try the button sometimes when there are baths, it finally started working again and the kids love getting their bubbles all fluffed up with it.

I'm pretty sure this is my favorite post ever! Love the pics of P in his high chair and Cheerios all over the floor, wish I could zoom in on his face! Love the close up of E giggling w/her crazy bed head and Berk's reactions of getting caught in Chris's office w/a snack! Love P's dance hand....I'm so teaching him jazz hands ;0)

This blog reminds me sooo much of Tucker! Him and Patton sound like they have a lot in common. Tucker even knows how to crawl over the baby gate to get on the stairs. Oh little boys! Gotta love them!
