The big news around here is that I finally convinced Chris to get a pool! Its not ever been a question of if but when and I've been begging for 2 years. It should be done the beginning of May and we can't wait for our fun summer with our very own pool!
Patton has been having so much fun watching the guys work. Whenever he sees construction equipment now he says "building a pool"
He also loves watching them work on getting the land behind us ready to build houses. We're kinda sad about that part- we've had such a pretty view from upstairs.
Elliott's school did the 5K run again this year. She really wanted to do the full 5K instead of just the 1K like last year. I helped with it again this year and decided not to run- since I now don't really like running. I had a few injuries and haven't gotten back into the grove and I don't really want to at this point- which left Chris as the designated Elliott partner. He said she had 2 speeds- sprinting and walking. I guess it paid off because she got 3rd place for her age group!

Berkley enjoyed the inflatable slide. She went up and down it for about 40 minutes straight and every time she looked like this.

Then Chris got to run again with Berkley in the 1 mile (I think it was a half a mile) fun run. She ran the whole time!
