What do you mean where have I been?

Once again I get to start a blog with an apology. I honestly don't know why I am so off my game.  Invitations to birthdays aren't sent out until weeks after the fact (to the people far away that can't come anyway).  The blog is neglected- I don't even take pictures all the time so there has been another photography project started and abandoned.  Probably because most of my time is now spent looking at horrible websites that talk about our food , shopping for healthy food, making menus for our food and preparing our food.  I think I have it under control now- I told Chris I understand why the Brady's had a cook now and why Mrs Cleaver always had an apron on and was in the kitchen.   Its kinda fun though and the kids love to help. Especially Patton- that adds his own special ingredients to our recipes when I'm not looking....good times.

Here is a little of what has been going on in our world lately

We took the kids to College Station for an Aggie Baseball game.  Chris and I haven't been down there since P was a couple months old and the girls hadn't been down since E was Berks age and B was Patton's age. It was definitely time!

Aren't they just too cute in all their Aggie gear?
We drove straight to one of our favorite places to eat- Wings and More and introduced the kids to fried pickles (I'm sure they are incredibly healthy)
Patton rocked these shades for the whole day- he cracks me up.
The one and only pic of me- that I took of myself to prove I was there.  And in an A&M shirt no less.  I think if you knew me in college you would know what a huge move it was for me to be cruising around college station with my whole family in maroon. I don't know if I even owned an A&M tshirt when I was there.  I'm what they call a 2%er.
Patton thought the train was so cool- he scrambled down from the playground when he heard it coming.
This kid is so mine its not even funny. She loves baseball games almost as much as me.  Which means not at all.
Elliott loved it- she loves getting some daddy time. The little ones and I dropped them off and went to kill some time- Chris has learned not to take me to a whole game if he wants to watch it all.
Patton chatting with Papa on the ride home.
 P the "helper"

A little out of order.  We took the kids on campus to walk around a little bit - we also drove past our old houses, I'm sure they'll be pretty tired of our little trips down memory lane in the future- but we really enjoy it.

P thought the fountain was cool
 Berkley running around
I love them holding hands.  So sweet!
 Little Big Man on Campus
This is the Sully statue (I think- haha) that Chris lured me over to the Century tree with when he proposed (12 years ago!)
The kids in front of the Century Tree where Chris proposed.  We've done a lot in the last 12 years :-)
My sweet little Aggies

The next day was St Patricks Day- better known around these parts as Berkley's Birthday!
I guess since she is a St Patricks kid she got a leprechaun. Unfortunately for me the leprechaun has gotten very naughty and papered us out of the house while we were gone.  I guess he was mad we left.
He also toilet papered our kitchen, rearranged all our chairs, hung underwear off the light, turned our toilet green, our milk green, took every pillow in the house out of its place and put it in another place.  He must have had a great time......I know I had fun putting it all back.
We celebrated with my family that evening.  Her birthday party was the next week. Those pictures should be up sometime in May.

 A few random pics

P getting his haircut (after his haircut from Berkley....)

The husbands both had work dinners so Amanda and I packed a picnic and took the kids to the park.  It was the first time in a long time we'd been. The kids just kept going up and down the slide and laughing and screaming like they were having the time of their lives.  I heard another little kid say "Those kids are acting like the park is so fun- its not even that fun"

I hired a new assistant for my shoots- she is great at making babies laugh and helping me test the light
Berk and her BFF Rylee at the park
We have a feeling this won't be the last time these two end up in handcuffs together
These two are probably well on their way as well.  Patton calls him "my Eli" and thinks its his personal job to make sure Eli doesn't touch anything that isn't his.

We took the girls shopping- and lost them

Patton "helping" me clean Berks bathroom decided to put every headband he could find on.
He was pretty impressed with himself
P loves snuggling and watching TV.  I don't mind it too much either :-)
Drinking/wearing a smoothie

My assistant at another shoot (that was 4 days after the one where she had on the sweatshirt and hat) Love TX weather.

Pretty sure my favorite picture is of Ry and Berk in handcuffs! Is that really the first time your kids have had fried pickles??? Poor kids.... They need to hang out with us more often ;0)
