Hard to believe but today my baby started kindergarten. She was BEYOND excited. She had ended up in our bed last night, when the alarm went off this morning I told her it was time to get up for school. She immediately jumped up and went to get dressed. I underestimated the amount of time it would take to get ready and to school so all my pictures were extremely rushed. I'm surprised I made it without getting yelled at by Chris to knock it off!
She had an awesome first day and can't wait to go back. I even made it withougt any tears!!! I got a little teary eyed but I did okay. Probably because I knew Chris would make fun of me forever. Also because I think I've gotten all my crying out and I'm at the acceptance stage of my grief ;-)
Over the weekend Elliott was in charge of everything. Friday we had a specaial Mommy day where we went to the mall, lunch and the movies. Saturday we went bowling with Grammy and Papa and Sunday she had a special daddy morning with breakfast, playing sports, watching 20 min of a movie and playing video games.
My silly girls. Last time Chris shaved E asked if she could help next time. So here they are shaving together. Who needs a son anyway? Daughters can do anything boys can do!
Elliott got new panties at the store and put them all on at once. Of course the next day guess who had to do the exact same thing? I love how she put them on!

I just talked to Emily today - she said today was the big day!! I'm so proud of you for moving so quickly in your grief process! Great work!! kids are cute as ever. adam loves her shirt she wore for the first day and the shaving!

I can't believe our babies are in kindergarten! I'm so glad Elliott had such a great first day - I hear you on the how long it takes to get out the door. We had to rush, too!
