Since Elliott was Berkley's age she has been going to the Kids Workshop at Home Depot every first Saturday of the month with Daddy to build a project. Notice all the pins on her apron, she has seriously only missed 2 or 3 since they started. Berkley has started going too. Which means that mommy goes to help so that Daddy doesn't have to do all the work. Although I mess up enough that it does cause Chris extra work taking my mistakes apart and fixing them. As one Daddy sitting at the table told his son- that's why mommy isn't allowed in the garage.

We took a long weekend for one last getaway before school starts. We went down to Austin and stayed at the Lost Pines resort. It is absolutely awesome! We stayed at a similar place when we went to San Antonio but this one was even better. We had so much fun and we loved being away together.
Almost everyone we passed was so impressed with our wagon. It was awesome for toting the girls and all our swimming gear down to the pool. If not for the wagon we'd have been yelling at tired kids all the way back to the room while dragging tons of bags. Definitely made the trip happier!
Its E helping Chris put on sunscreen. We've decided that the Snowflakes is an accurate name for our family (except me- although I haven't gotten much sun time so I am practically a snowflake too).
This picture is only to prove I was there! We were getting ready to go on the "Lazy Riber" as Berkley called it. Also one time when I asked her if she wanted to go to it she said "surely not" There was also a water slide that both girls went down.

They made s'mores EVERY NIGHT at the hotel. I went through s'more withdrawal when we got back home.
They also had activities all throughout the day. Scavenger hunts, 3 legged races, arts and crafts, sports. We didn't make it to many of them because we spent almost all our time at the pool. But we did make it to a few. Here are the girls with their face paint- which was promptly washed off in the pool even though they tried not to get their faces wet
My friend Stacey from college met us at the hotel for a night with her husband and boys. The next night our friends Terry and Emily met us up there for dinner. Here are the girls dancing to the live band while we were eating.

Whew that was a lot of pictures! There is a new uploader on the blog that makes it easier to load the pictures. I didn't narrow it down as much as usual since it was so easy. Lots and lots of fun- we can't wait to go back next year!

It does look like a great time - I hope we get to go sometime! I loved all the pictures - you took some great ones!
