A Baby Brother!

We found out on Tuesday that we're going to have a baby boy!  We are so excited to be adding a boy into the mix around here.  I am most excited for Chris to have a little buddy, and I think he is too!  We are pretty sure his name is going to be Patton James, as long as everyone can promise not to call him Pat.  Since this is Chris's BOY he is very opinionated on everything from names to crib bedding.  He says the kid is going to have a hard enough time in this house with a girly girl and someone who honestly thinks she's a princess- that he needs his own man room.  I think he'll be fine, my brother turned pretty good with 2 older sisters. Although I'm pretty sure Berkley is going to insist that he dress up as a princess with her......

Every time we've been shopping lately the girls and I look at all the baby clothes. I told them when we found out what we were having they could buy the baby some new clothes. Elliott turned this into "the day we find out we will go shopping for a new wardrobe." We all piled up after school and went to Old Navy so the girls could pick out some new clothes for their brother.
Yesterday was early release at Elliott's school. So the girls and I went to lunch and shopping at the mall. At the Maternity store they have a little belly you can put on so you can see how clothes will fit once you are bigger. The girls of course thought this was the best thing ever and both had to try it on.

This is my favorite picture.
Didn't work quite as well on E since she didn't have a dress on. She looks a little like Santa.
Last Friday was Grandparents Day at school. Mom was out of town visiting her friend Darlene but luckily her Papa was free to go to lunch with her. Notice Berkley shoving peaches in with her spoon, she couldn't stop for a pesky picture!
