I LOVE these girls

Berkley's half birthday was last Friday. Our half bday tradition started a few years ago with E's 3 1/2.  Usually its a little more low key than this with a homemade brownie cake and just the 4 of us. After all E's bday planning in July B began planning her half birthday. She saw this mini cake at Tom Thumb and has been talking about it ever since. You can see how thrilled she is with it in the picture- when Chris brought it home she gasped. It was adorable.  She also wanted to have all her friends over to celebrate so we had a family dinner with my side of the family to celebrate.  It was a lot of fun!

Opening 1/2 wrapped gifts. She got a barbie from Elliott, a book from Grammy and Papa and puzzles from Chris and I.
She is my little diva.
How cute is this sweet smile? I just love her.

Elliott and Daddy are BFF's.  She's been sneaking down into our bed a few nights a week and snuggling up with her dad. Saturday morning she woke up and said,  "Come on Dad lets get up" When I got up an hour later this is how I found them.
This picture was supposed to be of Berkley and I. I had on a leopard shirt and she asked to go put on her leopard dress so we could be matching.  I couldn't get the timer to work on the camera though.
We went to the Plano Balloon Festival.  This was walking up to it- since it was our first time we didn't realize how horrible traffic would be. It was insane! We missed the launch, but we did see a lot of them while they were still low.
This was everyone's favorite balloon. I don't know why more of them aren't cool like this one.
The girls both squeezed into the stroller for the walk back.
We went to visit Nanny and PawPaw this past weekend. I didn't take many pictures. Here are Berkley and PawPaw "playing" checkers. PawPaw got the board all set up only for Berkley to say okay lets put them away now.
