Lake Girls

Berkley made her first trip to the lake on Labor Day.  We've been reluctant to take her because if Berky's not happy- nobody's happy.  We went out early with J and Ray and only planned on staying a few hours.  She had a good time! Although when we stopped to swim she didn't want to swim and kept saying she wanted to go home.

Here they are right when we took off. Berk was a little unsure of the whole situation

She looked so cute with her little ponytail!

Once we got going she just sat in Chris's lap with a little grin on her face saying-"I so happy"

E bop loves the lake too.

This shocked me. Elliott and Chris went on the tube, Berkley watched and waved to them and told Elliott to "get back here missy". Then when we were pulling them in I asked if she wanted to go, she said yes, stood up and hopped right on. I couldn't believe she was so brave!

Here it looks like she might have been reassessing the danger in what she'd decided to do.  I think Chris was a little nervous too.  Sometimes  the tube actually goes underwater if the boat takes off slow- and he sure didn't want that to happen on Berkley's first ride!

Now she is having fun. She kept telling Chris "this is fun!"

Elliott has been going on more daring rides each time. The lake was pretty choppy and she went faster than normal so they got a little bit of air at times.  She had such a great time!
