Carnivals, Awards and Campfires

This is really getting out of control.  Probably you would say that I do have a lot of random pictures, but I really haven't been taking much around the house of everyday stuff.  Maybe because I'm busy with other stuff.  Maybe because I am A YEAR AND A HALF behind on doing any shutterfly albums with my regular pics and I am afraid to have 400+ a month to deal with.  Who knows why, but the goal is to catch myself up and stay on top of it.  Right.

Here is Mr Mans 8 month pic.  Not quite so easy to get a nice smooth blanket since as soon as I set him on it he starts grabbing it and pulling it. Whatev-  I'm over these pics- in fact I have been almost a full month behind the last few! I do know that I need to finish or I'll be sorry.  He is just such a little stinker!

Little about PMoney at 8 months

• He is laid back. Oh, except for when you put him down to play and walk away.  Or when he runs out of food.
• He loves to eat.  LOVES.  He spends at least 2 hours in the high chair a day. I'm not kidding. He just gets to a whiny point where we say- chair time. Throw him in there with a nice sprinkling of food.  He goes to town. He will eat ANYTHING.  It is amazing. I think he eats more than both girls put together.  I guess you can tell by his dimply legs that he definitely isn't skipping any meals.
• He doesn't want to burn off any calories by doing things like moving.  He is still quite content to stay in one place (as long as you are next to him).  He doesn't think crawling is really necessary when you can scream and someone comes to entertain you. 
• He is pulling up.  I guess he might walk before he can roll over! He rolls from tummy to back but when he tries to get on his tummy he can't figure out what to do with that pesky arm.   When he pulls up he looks like a water skier- he likes to pull up holding our hands and just leans back until he gets up. Its pretty cute.
• He is a boogie baby.  LOVES music.  When he hears it he starts bopping his head up and down. It is adorable. I also have little songs I sing, when I start belting out "patton patton patton pooh oo oo oo oo oo oo oo"- he jams.  Too bad I can't write music so you could hear the fabulous melody behind those words ;-)

B accompanied Patton on his first wagon ride. He thinks he is practically grown now.

 Elliott won the award in her class for Knowledge so we all went to the school for the assembly and to watch her get it.  So proud! Who would have thought that Chris's kid would win knowledge awards. Anyone?

 Cousins.  Look at this crew of mischief.  Do yo like how Patton is almost as big as Rylee? Nice huh?

 Looks like he's biting him- but it is just a Patton open mouthed smooch. We said "give the baby a kiss" How sweet is that?? Looks like Eli really is enjoying it ;)

 We made s'mores in Brad and Amanda's fire pit. I have been waiting for this all summer! To the point that I invited myself over and brought the ingredients.  Isn't their patio amazing? They had it built this summer- now that its cooled off I'm looking forward to a lot of nights like this!

 I love how Ry is looking up at E instead of at the camera. She thinks she is the coolest.

 Rylee spent a good portion of her time with the poker between her toes shouting"s'mores toes!" E thought it was pretty funny.
