Berk's Bday is St Patty's Day and that happened to fall on a Saturday this year. Elliott had a birthday party at the American Girl store and B and I went and picked out her birthday presents together, then we came home and wrapped them up. She cracked me up in the store, she was so excited and so hyper. First thing that morning she opened up her gifts
She chose Marie Grace that was born sometime in the 1800's. I am pretty sure that she chose her because of a fairy costume that she was modeling- that was sold separately that we also got to get. Here she is helping baby brother (that is almost as big as her) have a bottle (that he refuses to give up)
We like to play duck duck goose with our princesses- here she is playing with them
Papa called to wish her a Happy Birthday
Here's a good picture to show just how close to the same size they are. Berk is 40 inches and 34 pounds, Patton is 33 inches and 27 pounds. We figure he'll be bigger than her by next year.
We had family over that night for pizza and cake- I didn't order a cake and the day before she's asking what kind of cake I got her for her birthday. So in a scramble the girls and I went on the internet and watched a video of how to make a doll cake. Our skirt wasn't quite long enough, nothing that breaking off a few barbie legs wouldn't fix ;-) She loves to make crazy faces for the camera- I think I have about 20 different ones.
The next weekend we had her party with her friends at her favorite place ever Sugar and Spice. She had a great time- I have too many pics from it- I did have much more for the blog but in the midst of my 5 hours of photo sorting they got lost and I had to start over with that part, some pics didn't make it the second quick time through.
This part was pretty funny- she got upset because everyone was looking at her and singing- when she didn't blow out all the candles she got down- Rylee quickly hopped up and blew them out- she has no fear of attention!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAZY TASEY WE LOVE YOU!!
