Holy smokes! I've been trying to update this for about 2 days and my little upload thing wasn't showing the pictures- I finally updated my internet explorer and restarted my computer. I gotta think it was the update but these pics uploaded ALL AT ONCE in about a minute. Not sure if this has been working this way for others for years- all I know is I had to choose them one at a time and wait about 15 minutes for them to finally upload, even with already going through all of them and resizing for web. I can't tell you how exciting this is for me. Now I can hopefully post all 3 of the posts I have planned today! WoooHooo!
We started the tradition our second year in McKinney for the girls to decorate Santa cookies with cousin Rylee. We end up doing it here every year because we have all the fun stuff from the tea party and the last 2 years I've been smart enough to save leftovers from the tea party for them to use for Santa.
Like how they are all in some state of licking their icing? I hope Santa likes slobber in his cookies. (I am cracking myself up here).
This year we added in making elf donuts for Kurt. He is so fun we wanted to do something nice for him. We found the idea on pinterest- on there they even make a donut box out of a matchbox for presentation- we thought he'd be happy enough with a tiny plate from our tea party set.
Had to show the true tiny size of the plate-
We went to East TX the day before Christmas Eve to spend time with Nanny, PawPaw and the Brandy Bunch.
This is the current cat that has adopted the Pomeroy house. They call him Garfield and he is the sweetest ever. He must be lost because most of the cats there we can't get to close to- they just come out for food.
Every time we'd come out of the house he was bunting up against us. Patton has never experienced such a thing. I got out my camera too late - at first he was just sitting there looking super freaked out that this cat was rubbing up against him and curling its tail around his neck. Here he is enjoying it.
E loves to let her country girl come out and try to climb the tree out front. We're up to about 2 feet off the ground now.
I LOVE this picture. They are walking across the street to see the cows- they were all Mooing nonstop
Once we got there and the kids climbed up on the fence they all stopped and stared. I don't think any of them moved until we left. I think the one over on the left was a bull- but maybe I am lying. Towards the end he started bellowing- like he was trying to alert someone that there were kids staring at them.
Throwing leaves. He'd throw about 3 at a time.
Cousin Madison. I can't believe how old she's gotten - seems like yesterday she was Patton's size. She just turned 11. Someone adores her.
Instead of playing together they all piled in the chair to play the Ipad. I am super surprised Patton allowed it- he is pretty possessive about what he considers to be his Ipad.
Love the girls faces as they wait for the presents to be passed out.
Thanks for the great pic by the tree guys. Appreciate it.
Patton didn't quite understand opening presents yet - Cousin Dustin was helping him out
PawPaw with the kids- Patton clung to his stocking candy with a kung fu grip the rest of the night
Emily Patton and Johna

I like P's face
Nanny with all the little kids
After all the fun in East TX we piled all our loot and our kids in the car to make it home for Christmas Morning!
