This is the face of Naughty

I know this picture is old. If I had a more current mug shot of him I would use it.  Seriously- if there were a baby juvie this guy would be in it.

Before I tell you all the ways he is naughty- I need to say some of  the ways he is sweet and kind and hilarious.  It helps explain why he hasn't been sent to the slammer.  Just kidding I wouldn't trade him for anything.

He says "Mommy- you my best friend" all the time.  Then he will hug up on me and rub my face or hair with his chubby little hands.  (This is probably because he feels bad for thinking of evil ways to destroy me).  He'll also just randomly say things like "mommy, you so pretty" and "mommy you beautiful" while petting my face or hugging me.  I mean seriously- where does he get that from?!  Chris had hernia surgery last week and has an incision and some bad bruising. P is VERY concerned about it and keeps saying "Daddy we need to take you  back to the hosbidible and get you fixed up- good as new". Every night he wants to read "for the girls" which means he wants to read with the girls in their room- not by himself in the rocking chair.  Chris was in his office and heard him saying something over and over- and getting worked up- he went to check on him and P was yelling at the tv to "stop singing" with a disgusted look on his face.  (Chris and I don't like when our shows break into song either- we were pretty proud).  He still loves to help cook- he will scramble up onto the counter so fast saying "mommy- I help you cook?" over and over (and over and over and over).  Then he talks NONstop.  He is mostly concerned about my wedding ring lately- I took it off to make meatloaf one time so now he keeps worrying that it is going to get water on it - its a huge conversation.  You have to watch him when he's "helping" though- because if it is moving too slow for him and I turn my back he'll start adding his own ingredients.  Everyday he says "I want nilla ice cream and go swimming" We've not been able to swim for the past 3 days because its been cold and rainy around here. Which might explain why he has found himself in so much trouble.

His naughty antics pretty much reached fever pitch on Friday.  He started by purposely knocking over a trash can at the donut shop.  He got out rolls of toilet paper and unrolled them all over the house.  Downstairs and upstairs.  Then upstairs again.  He keeps spitting on the floor.  Filled an entire cup that had smoothie leftovers in the bottom with water and dumped it on the floor (he dumps at least a cup of water on the floor a day- no amount of yelling- spanking- timeouts- making him clean it up deters him).  Then he stepped in his spit when I told him to clean it up. He kept throwing things from upstairs to downstairs.  I walked in from out back and he was sitting on the steps- he says "mommy- I'm coloring my arm".  Now his favorite thing to do is to try to get a hold of a roll of paper towel or toilet paper to unroll.  Elliott stopped him yesterday, as did berkley- and he got totally mad- yelling "I want to make a mess!!!" (Really?? He doesn't even try to hide it).  He also climbs on everything- he pulls bar stools around the house to get whatever he wants.  I always said I would never have kids that climbed around on the counters.  Guess what- never say your kids won't do something- it means they surely will. Today he walked in while I was looking up recipes on the computer and turned it off.  He always turns down the volume on the girls when they are trying to watch tv.  I think its pretty safe to say a bored attention seeking Patton is a pretty dangerous combonation!
