The Pomeroy Family: Quick Update

I decided I should blog- since there are at least 3 people in the world that are dying to see pics of our adventures. 2 of them being little Pomeroy's. Unfortunately- when you are a lazy procrastinator and you go into the computer to get pictures to blog and realize that you haven't edited any of the pictures from the last 2 months- you are in a bit of a situation. Not that I full out edit every picture I take- but my camera takes them in RAW format- which means I at least have to open them up and re-save them as jpegs. And evidently that is just where I draw the line right now.

So- until I do that- and also hook up my iPhone to download pics- here is a little update on our summer. We are loving the pool!!! I haven't gotten to have all the parties I dreamed of having yet- seems we stay pretty busy and rain on my opening party kept it from happening- then when it was rescheduled lots of people couldn't come. And if you actually read this and weren't invited, its because you are on a list for a future party :-) I didn't want to have everyone over at once so I made several smaller parties- that also haven't happened. Its amazing when you think you have nothing going on all summer- then stay extremely busy and all the sudden the summer is almost over!

Anyway- now that we've had my typical 2 paragraphs of excuses as to why I don't' blog and why I don't have pictures- I'll share a few from that I do have from our first party- that ended up being family- and SUPER fun.

A game of smashball- a game we learned at our friends how that involves someone that is "it" hitting/kicking the balls at people running back and forth between 2 bases. SUPER fun. We popped 2 of our balls in the process and need to restock before the cousins get here for what will be a huge week of pool fun.

Somehow J got stuck on a team with Elliott and I. Elliott can barley touch and I have no excuse.

The other team. I honestly have no idea who one- I'm doubting it was my team though. I don't think the game ever finished because we got distracted by a fight about june bugs.

I was taking pics in the pool until my mom took my camera away from me- I don't think she knew it was an underwater camera and it would be fine to get wet - thanks for trying to protect me mom! Maybe if I wasn't taking pics of us playing volleyball we would have had a better shot at winning :)

Our friends Donnie and Becca had a new baby and their son Rhett came over to hang out for the day so D and B could rest. The girls loved him and so did Patton. He asks all the time if his buddy "Rat" can come play.

Patton is always looking to cause trouble.

4th of July we hung out at mom and dads all day-I'm pretty sure there might be pictures from that.... Then we got to go over to Rachel's' parents neighborhood to watch the fireworks from the golf course- Super fun!
