The other day Elliott and I were talking in the car about if she was excited that Christmas Break was over and she would be going back to school.
Berkley "I will be so so sad when sissy goes back to school."
Me "I know, but you will have a baby brother at home with you soon, that will be fun right?"
Berkley "Yes, but I will miss my best friend Elliott"
How sweet is that?!
B is very sweet, but she is also very sassy too. She has been having lots of accidents- basically just being lazy and not going to the bathroom. She has been potty trained for awhile now. After having to wash several of her dress up clothes I told her that she couldn't wear any until she stopped having accidents because it wasn't good to wash them so much. A couple days ago she came to me with her Snow White dress, I told her I was sorry but she had been having accidents and she had to show me that she knew how to use the potty like a big girl if she was going to dress up. She accepted that without a fight and sat down at the table with me. I think she must have draped the dress over the chair. A little while later I'm in the kitchen and she brings me the dress and tells me she peed on it....who does that?! I'm really struggling with discipline for her because she doesn't seem to care what I do. Pretty scary!
We had to leave the park yesterday because she had an accident- today Chris was taking the girls to Home Depot for the kids workshop and to Dunkin Donuts for a donut. I put her on the potty and I was telling her that she needed to make sure to tell daddy if she had to go to the potty because I didn't want them to have leave and not get to do the fun things. Chris told her that he was still going to dunkin donuts no matter what that she just wouldn't get to have one if she had an accident. He walks away and she told me "I pay attention to daddy" Sure enough she told him when she had to go potty.
Can't wait for little brother to come shake things up :-)
