We got tons of snow today! Elliott started talking about getting snow like last year awhile ago and I told her that was pretty unlikely since that is the only time it has ever snowed like that in the 20+ years I have lived in Texas. Guess I was wrong! We got a good 6 inches today of the good kind of snow!
I was trying to get pics of it falling, it was really coming down. Berkley was standing up on the moulding watching it (you can barely see the princess crown on her head)
After I got 2 layers of clothes on everyone Chris and the girls headed outside. I stayed in to get myself dressed and gather things for the snowman. 15 min later when I came out they had already made the snowman, done snow angels, and Berkley was done!

Berk was getting ready to go inside when Elliott and Daddy had the bright idea to take out the barbie escalade. So Berk stayed out for a few more min. Of course they got stuck, so Chris pushed them around. E called it the Daddy Express, he was all crazy doing donuts and all kinds of fun stuff.

Chris and E stayed outside for a good hour and a half sledding and snowball fighting with the neighbors. Then we had a nice hot bath and some hot chocolate.
E is really into making everything herself. Notice how high our microwave is??
The girls and Daddy put together Patton's swing and cradle. I was in the bedroom and I kept hearing their questions and cracking up. Berkley really wanted to turn on the swing so every 10 seconds she would say "Now?" He's such a good patient daddy!
Chris went outside to knock snow off of one of our trees, it was almost totally on the ground. He took the camera to get a picture of the house and our snowmen, poor guy fell down, so the house pic is a little blurry
E made the little snowman all by herself, the big one was all decorated but got all covered up with more snow. We'll have to fix him up tomorrow.

This is from New Years Eve, Berkley got it in her head that she wanted her hair curled for some reason.
Looking forward to another lazy day at home, no school and no work!!!

So fun, you guys are so lucky! Drew and Josh waited all day to go sledding, but we didn't have any snow stick to the ground around here!
I can't believe you got so much snow! We are so jealous! What a great day - and so glad Chris was there to enjoy it with you guys!!
